Police are now in a position to release the name of the woman who died at an address on Newington Road, Henderson on 12 July.
She was 34-year-old Aitasi Carmella Hohenberger, of Te Atatu.
Police extend their condolences to her loved ones.
The investigation into her death is ongoing.
