Police can now release the name of the man who died in a crash in Rotoorangi, Waipa district, on Friday 5 April.
He was 42-year-old Blair Allison Phelps of Mamaku.
Police extend their sympathies to Mr Phelps' family at this difficult time.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
