Police can now release the name of the man and woman who died in the crash on SH 3, Tariki, Taranaki on Friday.
They were Lindsay Drinkwater, aged 93, and Fay Drinkwater, aged 88, of Stratford.
Police extend our condolences to their family and friends.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
