NZ police successful in drugs haul, Otago Lakes District

As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Malcolm Inglis, Queenstown Police:

Today Otago Lakes Central police executed two search warrants in the Wanaka area.

At one address, Police located a sophisticated cannabis growing room with 34 cannabis plants.

These plants were all at different levels of maturity, with some ready to be sold.

As a result of that search warrant, a 58-year-old Wanaka man will be facing cultivation of cannabis charges and manufacturing a class B drug (cannabis oil).
