A serving police officer has been infringed for Low Range PCA on the states Central Coast.
About 10pm yesterday (Sunday 4 October 2026), officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command allegedly stopped a vehicle on the Pacific Highway, Wadalba, for the purpose of a breath test.
It will be alleged the male driver – a constable attached to the Northern Region - returned a positive reading.
The man was placed under arrest and taken to Wyong Police Station where a breath analysis allegedly returned a reading of 0.059.
He was issued an infringement notice for drive with low range PCA and his licence was suspended for three months.
The officer's employment status is under review.
