A Northern Territory Police Officer has charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
The 35-year-old male has been bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 21 January 2021.
The officer has been suspended with pay and the matter is under investigation by the Professional Standards Command.
As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided.
