A Northern Territory Police Officer has been served with a Notice to Appear in Darwin Local Court on 15 October 2021.
The 36-year-old male officer has been charged with:
- One count of Unlawful modification of Data pursuant to offending against section 276C Criminal Code Act NT (1983).
The officer has been suspended from duty with pay.
The matter is under investigation by the Professional Standards Command.
As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided.
