A police officer has been charged following investigations by police in Sydney's west.
The senior constable – attached to a command in the North West Metropolitan Region – was charged with affray.
The charges relate to an incident on Thursday 7 July 2022.
Following inquiries, the officer was yesterday (Thursday 28 July 2022) issued a court attendance notice for the offence and is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday 8 September 2022.
The officer's employment status is currently under review.
