Officer charged, NSW

A police officer has been charged over an alleged domestic violence-related an incident at Seven Hills, NSW Police say.

Police from Blacktown Local Area Command were called to the home about 7pm Sunday (14 May 2017), responding to a reported domestic violence-related offence.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), and common assault.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday 28 June 2017.

The officer is attached to a specialist unit.
