Officer charged - South West Metropolitan region 10 November

An officer has been charged over alleged misconduct offences.

In February this year, officers from the Professional Standards Command commenced an investigation into alleged misconduct.

Following inquiries, a 29-year-old male constable who is attached to a specialist command – was issued a court attendance notice today (Wednesday 10 November 2021), for six counts of public official unlawfully disclose information.

He is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 24 January 2022.

The officer is currently suspended from duty.
