A police officer has been charged after alleged misconduct last year.
Officers attached to Murray River Police District initiated an investigation into alleged police misconduct following an arrest on Saturday 25 June 2022.
Following investigations, a senior constable attached to the Southern Region was today (Monday 13 February 2023) issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for one count of common assault.
He is due to appear in Albury Local Court on Wednesday 29 March 2023.
