Officer charged - Specialist Command, NSW

A police officer has been charged after an incident at a random breath testing site in Narwee last year.

On Friday 6 November 2015, the Senior Constable, who is attached to a specialist command, was conducting random breath testing duties on Hannans Road, Narwee, when he attempted to stop a motorcyclist, NSW Police say.

It is alleged the motorcyclist was struck with an object and subsequently crashed. He suffered minor injuries.

On Friday today the officer was served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for the offence of ‘intentionally throw object at vehicle / vessel – risk safety’.

He is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court on 7 September 2016.
