Officer charged - Specialist Command

A serving officer has been charged over two alleged off-duty incidents.

Officers from Bankstown Police District have been investigating an alleged threatening phone call which occurred on Thursday 27 September 2018, as well as an altercation between two males at Revesby which allegedly occurred on Thursday 22 November 2018.

Following inquiries, yesterday (Tuesday 19 March 2019), the officer, a senior constable attached to a specialist command, was served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for the offences of common assault – domestic violence related, use carriage service to menace, harass or offend, and intimidation.

He is expected to appear before Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 2 May 2019.
