Officer issued Notice To Appear, North Coast Region

A 39-year-old male senior constable from North Coast Region has been arrested and conveyed to the Maroochydore Watchhouse where he was charged with eight counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16, two counts of involving a child in making child exploitation material and one count of possession of child exploitation material.

The senior constable has since been released on bail and will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday April 29, 2022.

The officer has been suspended from official duty with the Queensland Police Service.
