The Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit is investigating a theft from business premises in Officer earlier this month.
Investigators have been told two men entered a building, which houses a number of businesses located on the Princes Highway, about 4am on 8 August.
The pair stole electronic equipment and cash.
The offenders were driving a two tone, dark colour with grey bottom panels, Ford SUV.
Police have released images of a man and a vehicle they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
