Local resident and centenarian Bill Maloney, surprised nurses and staff at the Rockdale Town Hall vaccination clinic when he showed up with his wife for their first AstraZeneca shot yesterday.
Bill Maloney and his 95 year old wife Elaine live in Bexley went to the Rockdale Town Hall vaccination Hub for their first AstraZeneca jab yesterday and will be back for the second shot.
They were both very appreciative of the service provided by the Rockdale Town Hall Clinic including the nurses Linden Harper and Sandra Johnston.
Bill, a war veteran, served in PNG as a water carrier in WW2. Bill and his wife have been married for 73 years.
They are also looking forward to being able to see their family.
