A newly launched course is giving academics, professionals, activists and hobbyists a way to learn the best techniques for facing challenges in their work.
The e-learning platform ST21Mooc is an e-learning heritage management tool which takes learners though the European Heritage Strategy 2021 in ten steps and helps them to put it to use for facing challenges such as lack of investment in heritage, loss of traditional skills, fading memories of the past and diversity.
Through ten modules and supporting material, it provides heritage managers at all levels with the knowledge and skills to implement 32 recommendations from Strategy 21 and help them address some of the challenges related to social cohesion, economic and territorial issues, education and development.. It guides participants in the analysis of their heritage activities so they use Strategy 21 good practice and become part of its network.
