Opportunity To Have Positive Impact On Young People

Are you a fully licensed driver over 21 in Greater Geelong and interested in assisting young people to overcome barriers and gain their P-plates?

We need your expertise as part of the L2P Program to help L-platers who have no access to a supervising driver or car get their Ps.

In the last financial year, our 110 volunteers contributed to 76 drivers passing their probationary licence tests. A total of 612 drivers have become P-platers in the program's 16 years of operating in the region.

The community-based program is funded by the TAC, administered by the Department of Transport, and coordinated by the City of Greater Geelong.

Successful volunteers would need to be able to commit 1-2 hours a week to support young people, generally aged between 16 to 21, gain experience behind the wheel. Vehicles and training (later this month) are provided.
