Detective Chief Superintendent Tony Cooke, head of the Organised Crime Squad, said the latest charges send a signal to all criminals that they can expect the full scope of the law.

"The charge of supply large commercial quantity of prohibited drug – with almost a tonne of cocaine and a estimated potential street value of $360 million, is significant because it shows that while criminals continue to engage in this kind of activity, we will use every law at our disposal to prosecute those criminals and disrupt their operations," Detective Superintendent Cooke said.

These two men were arrested last week with two other men.

Investigations under Strike Force Mangowa are ongoing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to organised criminal activity or any activity impacting on the safety of the community to call Crime Stoppers.
