The Territory Labor Government has today announced all Territorians over the age of 16 will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine from tomorrow.
This is a milestone for the Territory – making it the first jurisdiction in the nation to be offering the vaccine to anyone over the age of 16.
This decision makes the vaccine available to an additional 60,000 Territorians.
Territorians from Greater Darwin – the last region of the Territory to collapse existing vaccine phases – over the age of 16 must book online to receive their vaccine.
We encourage Territorians to be patient when booking their COVID-19 vaccination appointment, and to do so over the coming weeks.
Over 13,000 Territorians are fully vaccinated.
