P1 driver charged high range PCA in Kellyville

A man will appear in court after being caught allegedly drink driving in Kellyville last night, NSW Police say.

Shortly after 10.30pm yesterday, police were patrolling Samantha Riley Drive, Kellyville after reports a white Holden Commodore utility was allegedly doing burn outs on Samantha Riley Drive and Glenhaven Road.

Officers from The Hills Traffic and Highway Patrol Command activated their warning devices and the stopped the vehicle along Sanctuary Drive.

Police conducted a roadside breath test on the 26-year-old man, a P1 provisional driver, which proved positive.

He was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station, where he underwent a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.169.

He was charged with drive with high range PCA, and not comply P1 licence conditions – no P plates.

His driver’s licence was suspended.

The man was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 6 September 2017.
