Melbourne Divisional Response Unit detectives have arrested two women and seized significant amounts of cash and drugs following an ongoing investigation into alleged drug trafficking, Victoria Police say.
Two search warrants were executed in the early hours of this morning at residential addresses on Dumfries Street, Deer Park and Mark Street, North Melbourne.
A third warrant was executed at a storage facility on Macauley Road,
As a result, police seized more than $130,000 in cash, along with a range of drugs including dried cannabis, heroin, MDMA and ice.
An unidentified powder was also seized by detectives.
A 36-year-old North Melbourne woman and 24-year-old Deer Park woman were both arrested and are currently in custody.
They will be interviewed shortly.
The investigation is ongoing.
