A 24 year old man and a 40 year old woman have been charged over the siege in New World Avenue, Trevallyn, Tasmania Police say.
The pair has been charged with a number of crimes relating to incidents within Launceston last week, namely Grievous Bodily Harm (shooting) at 33 New World Avenue, Trevallyn, on Wednesday 5 December 2018, and the siege at 33 New World Trevallyn overnight on Friday 7 December and Saturday 8 December 2018.
The man has also been charged with the Armed Robbery at BP Wellington Street on Thursday 6 December 2018.
Both people will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court this morning.
