Palmer's Coalition preference deal a good thing: Bernardi

Australian Conservatives Release

Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says it's a good thing that the Coalition and Clive Palmer have agreed to swap preferences at the May 18 election.

The deal improves the government's chances of holding key marginal seats and boosting Mr Palmer's prospects of entering the Senate.

Senator Bernardi has told Paul Murray Live on Sky News if it increases the chances of Scott Morrison retaining the Treasury benches it'll be better for the country than a Labor/Greens victory.
