WHAT: Passavant Hospital Foundation is hosting its 7th Annual Run/Walk fundraiser. Participants can choose to run or walk the 8k or 4k race and attend a post-race celebration and awards ceremony with giveaways and refreshments.
Registration for the event closes August 13.
WHY: Proceeds from the race will benefit the McCandless and Cranberry campuses of UPMC Passavant in advancing health and wellness in the community through outreach, education and grant making.
WHO: Family and friends looking to support the Passavant Hospital Foundation's mission while getting some exercise.
WHEN: 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16
WHERE: North Park Pool Loop, Hemlock Drive, Allison Park, Pa., 15101.
The post-race celebration will be at Harmar Pavilion, South Ridge Drive, Allison Park.
Free Parking will be available at Pie Traynor Field, the Pool Parking Lot and Harmar Pavilion.
