Passenger numbers remained in positive territory for Queensland Airports Limited in November, with a 0.8 per cent increase for the group or 685,200 people travelling through its four airports in the month.

QAL CEO Chris Mills said passenger numbers had improved in the second half of the calendar year and hoped the trend would continue for the group, which owns and operates the Gold Coast, Townsville, Mount Isa and Longreach airports.
