Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that roadworks on Middle Arm Road is planned to continue from the intersection of Rhyanna Road and Middle Arm Road, extending approximately one kilometre towards Goulburn.
Works will include site preparation, earthworks, drainage, curve realignment, pavement works, bitumen sealing, guard rail Installation and line marking. During the works a water truck will be utilised for dust suppression.
Works are scheduled to begin on 12 October 2026 and will be undertaken between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work. The works are expected to take approximately eight weeks to complete, weather permitting.
As part of the rehabilitation works, Council will import gravel to overlay the existing road surface. During this stage, the road will temporarily remain unsealed until the new seal is applied.
Motorists are asked to drive to the conditions, exercise caution and follow all onsite traffic directions.
Minor traffic delays and an increase in construction traffic should be expected during this period. Property access will be maintained.
Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.
