Pedestrian critical after being struck by car - Dundas

A man is in a critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle in Sydney's north-west today.

About 2.30pm (Friday 24 January 2020), emergency services responded to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a red Peugeot sedan on Kissing Point Road, Dundas.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 29-year-old man before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 50-year-old man from Constitution Hill, was also taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.

The Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit have commenced inquiries and the car involved has been taken for forensic examination.
