Pedestrian dies after crash - Epping

A pedestrian who was hit by a car in Epping earlier this month has died in hospital.

About 1.20pm on Monday 10 October 2022, emergency services were called to Langston Place, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

The pedestrian – a 69-year-old woman – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before she was taken to North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle – a 63-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Ryde Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

About 3.50pm yesterday (Tuesday 25 October 2022), the woman died in hospital.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
