A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Sunshine last night.
Police have been told the man appeared to walk out onto Ballarat Road, near the intersection of Anderson Road, when he was struck by a passing motorist shortly before 8.30pm.
Sadly the man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The 42-year-old female driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene to render assistance.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
