Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a woman was killed in a collision in Doncaster East.
It is believed an 87-year-old Doncaster East woman, was fatally struck by a garbage truck on Hamilton Crescent about 2pm.
The driver of the truck was located a short distance away and is helping police with their enquiries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established.
An investigation is ongoing.
