Pedestrian hit by car in Truganina

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Truganina this morning.

It is believed a woman was crossing Leakes Road when she was hit by a white sedan about 4.35am.

She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The female driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Investigators believe a number of cars drove past the scene at the time and are keen to speak to anyone with dashcam footage.
