Pedestrian seriously injured after Windsor crash

A man is speaking with police after a woman was hit by a car at Windsor this morning.

The crash occurred around 5.15am on Macquarie Street, near the intersection of Christie Street.

The 30-year-old woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. She has since been airlifted to Westmead Hospital for further treatment to serious injuries.

The vehicle left the scene, however a man has since attended Windsor Police Station.

Inquiries are continuing.
