Pedestrian seriously injured in crash near Hadspen, TAS

Shortly after 4pm on Thursday 20 December 2018 a serious crash occurred on the Bass Highway, Hadspen approximately 500 metres west of the Pateena Road off ramp where a male pedestrian was struck by a car travelling west on the Bass Highway, Tasmania Police say.

The man, aged in his 40s received serious injuries and was conveyed to the Launceston General Hospital where his condition was classified as unstable and he will be flown to the Alfred Hospital later this evening for ongoing treatment.
