Pedestrian struck by car - Darlinghurst

Inquiries are continuing after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Darlinghurst overnight.

Just after 10pm (Thursday 12 December 2019), emergency services were called to Flinders Street, near Oxford Street, following reports a Toyota Yaris sedan had a struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 20-year-old man, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.

The driver, a 41-year-old man, was not injured.

Officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
