Pedestrian struck by train at Ovingham, South Australia

Police are investigating a crash at Ovingham this morning.

Just before 9am, Sunday 10 July, police and paramedics were called to the Ovingham Railway Station, after a man was struck by a passing train at the pedestrian crossing on Devonport Terrace.

The 81-year-old from the Renown Park, was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
