Pedestrians dies after being hit by SUV - Baulkham Hills

A woman has died after being struck by a car in Sydney's west.

About 11.45am yesterday (Tuesday 24 January 2023), emergency services were called to a service station on Seven Hills Road, Baulkham Hills, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a Lexus NX SUV.

On arrival, officers from The Hills Police Area Command located a 79-year-old woman suffering serious injuries.

She was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition; police were informed the woman passed away last night.

The SUV driver, a 50-year-old woman, was taken to Westmead Hospital for a mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established with investigations continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue, anyone with dashcam vision or further information is urged to come forward.
