Pemberton fatal crash

Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Pemberton yesterday afternoon, Saturday 18 July 2020.

About 1.30pm, a red Holden Commodore sedan was travelling south on the Vasse Highway towards Pemberton when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree near the Pemberton Farm Chalets.

The driver, a 76-year-old man from Pemberton died at the scene. His passenger, a 74-year-old woman also from Pemberton received serious injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to the Pemberton Hospital.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Holden Commodore sedan travelling in the Pemberton area prior to the crash. Anyone with dash-cam vision of the crash or the vehicle prior to the crash are urged to come forward.
