Person dies in collision - Kemps Creek

A person has died in a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's west today.

About 11.20am (Tuesday 25 February 2020), emergency services were called to Mamre Road, Kemps Creek, after a car and truck collided.

The car driver died on the scene. They are yet to be formally identified.

The truck driver, a man aged 58, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics on scene for suspected spinal injuries.

He has been taken to Nepean Hospital, where he'll also undergo mandatory testing.

Police are urging motorists to avoid Mamre Road, with diversions in place on Bakers Lane.
