Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 10 July 2022

Sales activity increased 1.1 per cent in Perth last week, withREIWA membersreporting 900 transactions.

Over the week, house sales increased by 10 per cent, unit sales decreased 7.5 per cent and vacant land sales decreased 46.9 per cent.

Properties for sale

There were 8,560properties for sale in Perthat the end of last week, which is 0.4 per cent less than the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings decreased by 0.4 per cent, unit listings decreased by 1.9 per cent and listings for vacant land increased by 1.7 per cent.

Last week's total figure is 1.3 per cent higher than four weeks ago and the same as a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 2,348properties for rent in Perthat the end of last week, which is 2.1 per cent more than the previous week.

Last week's rental listings figure is 1.4 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 22.1 per cent lower than the same time last year.

Leasing activity was stable in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 663 properties leased.
