Perth market snapshot for week ending 12 July 2020

Sales activitydecreased 34 per cent in Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 863transactions.

This decrease canbe attributed to a 13 per cent fall in house sales, 20 per cent fall in unitsales and 61 per cent fall in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 10,374 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, whichis in line with last week.

A closer look atlisting stock levels shows house listings decreased by one per cent, listingsfor units remained stable and listings for vacant land increased by one percent.

This week's total figure is seven per cent lower than levels seen four weeksago and 30 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 3,963properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which is in line with last week.

This week's rental listingsfigure is nine per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago, and are 46 per centlower than levels seen a year ago.
