Unfortunately, due to the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Narelle, Dementia Australia has made the difficult decision to postpone the Perth Memory Walk & Jog planned for Sunday 29 March at Burswood Park.
The Bunbury Memory Walk and Jog planned for Saturday 28 March at Back Beach will also be postponed.
Our goal for Memory Walk & Jog is to have a fun-filled and safe community event supporting people impacted by dementia. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of all participants, staff and volunteers. Tropical Cyclone Narelle is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds which will make preparing and setting up both the event sites unsafe.
Perth Memory Walk & Jog has been postponed to Sunday 21 June at Burswood Park. Bunbury Memory Walk & Jog has been postponed to Saturday 20 June at Back Beach, Bunbury.
The decision to postpone has not been taken lightly, and we are thankful for everything everyone has done so far in raising funds and getting ready for 2026 Memory Walk & Jog.
