Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 24 September 2025), the average price of Perth's regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 16 cents per litre (cpl) to 181.9 cpl with 7-Eleven and BP hiking up to 209.9 cpl; Ampol up to 207.9 cpl; United up to 199.9 cpl; Vibe up to 199.7 cpl; and EG Ampol up to 193.9 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 22 individual sites offering ULP below 159 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 58 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $34 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday's cheapest ULP is available for:
- 159.0 cpl at Shell Bullsbrook in the East;
- 154.3 cpl at Burk Oakford in the South; and
- 156.3 cpl at Burk Alkimos in the North.
Wednesday's cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 158.8 cpl at Vibe Forrestfield and Vibe Mt Helena in the East;
- 151.9 cpl at Vibe Oakford Truckstop in the South; and
- 156.2 cpl at Vibe Wanneroo in the North.
