Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 12.4 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 694 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 10.7 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were down 23 per cent while land sales were up 8.3 per cent.

There were 4,459 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 6.6 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 6.7 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 5.2 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 9.2 per cent.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 36 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 6.2 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,233 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 3 per cent up on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 14.6 per cent higher than four weeks ago but still 2.8 per cent lower than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 554 properties leased last week, which is 12.1 per cent lower than the previous week, 13.5 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 19.2 per cent lower than a year ago.
