Then, when you finish perusing the library, step out into a great community space – Prahran Square. Located on Cato Street, it's a place where you can take in the sights, sounds and experiences of this cultural heart of Stonnington. Grab a coffee, visit the market, go shopping or meet a friend for lunch or dinner at one of the many cafés or restaurants nearby.

There's always something good happening in Stonnington, and on 25 and 26 March, you can immerse yourself in a stunning, multi-sensory experience of the critically-acclaimed Candlelight Concerts at Prahran Square.

Live and intimate, guests will be captivated as the award-winning urban parkland at Prahran Square is bathed in the soft glow of candlelight under the stars, and will be treated to exceptional live performances, showcasing inspiring repertoires from jazz greats and renowned movie soundtrack composers.

The first Candlelight Concert on 25 March, is a tribute to Aretha Franklin and other jazz greats. Be mesmerised by this timely and heart-warming performance with spectacular renditions of Aretha's most popular songs, performed by the Luminosity Trio (Elly Poletti, Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Joe McEvilly).

The second Candlelight Concert on 26 March, will feature works from renowned movie soundtrack composers – Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, and John Williams – performed by the Invictus Quartet (Rebecca Wang, Nyssa Sanguansri, Jin Tong Long and Annika Cho), and Eclective Strings (Elly Poletti, Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Joe McEvilly).
