Pharmacy robbed in Campsie

Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at a Campsie pharmacy, NSW Police say.

About 9.30pm (Thursday 24 May 2018), police were called to a pharmacy on Canterbury Road at Campsie, after reports a man entered the store armed with a firearm.

He approached the attendant and demanded money, before fleeing with medicine and cash.

No one was physically injured.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police would like to speak to a man described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 175cm tall and of medium to large build.

He was last seen wearing a light coloured hooded jumper, grey tracksuit pants and was carrying a black bag.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
