Phone survey to commence for Yarra Ranges residents

person using a mobile phone and laptop

Beginning in May and running until early June, Yarra Ranges Council has enlisted market research company TKP to conduct a phone survey of a random sample of its residents.

The 15-minute survey asks community members questions about their recent contact with Council.

This annual survey provides valuable data to help inform Council of improvement opportunities.

Council is also aware that there is a current phone scam where callers claim to be doing a survey on behalf of Council.

The caller typically asks a series of personal questions to try and obtain financial information from the community member.

Please note that Council would never ask for these kind of details as part of any survey that it is undertaking.

If you have any doubts as to the legitimacy of the surveyor in question, you can ask their full name, company name and postal address.
