Griffith Pioneer Park Museum is pleased to announce that the much-loved Pioneer Express Train is officially operational, offering visitors a fun and family-friendly way to explore the museum grounds.
The train will be running on the first Sunday of each month, with the next run scheduled for Sunday 7 December 2025 at 11am.
Passengers can embark on a guided tour through the museum grounds, hear stories of the region's past and soak up the scenery, with tickets just $6 per ride.
Museum Manager Jenny O'Donnell said the return of the train is always a highlight for families and visitors of all ages.
"The Pioneer Express is one of our most popular attractions, it's a great way for people to take in the scenery and experience the scale of the museum in a really enjoyable way," she said.
Tickets can be purchased from the Museum Shop on the day. All funds raised support the ongoing maintenance of the train and the volunteer program that keeps it running.
