Emergency Crews Respond to Plane Crash at Brentwood

A light aircraft has crashed after it hit a horse on take-off at Brentwood on the Yorke Peninsula this morning.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at 9.20am Sunday 30 July.

The pilot and passenger escaped the aircraft. The pilot, a 63-year-old local man was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger, a 56-year-old local woman was uninjured.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) will investigate the incident.
