Yarra Ranges Council has seen improvements across a number of key areas in relation to planning applications, recent data from the Local Government Performance Reporting Framework (LGPRF) shows.
The number of calendar days taken to decide on planning applications has dropped by more than 20%, from a median of 109.5 days in July 2018 – June 2019, to 87 days in July 2019 – June 2020.
The last financial year also saw Council achieve a 67.62% of planning applications decided within the required 60 statutory days, which was a 16.73% increase on the previous financial year.
